Predictive analytics seems to be everywhere-do you think it’s truly reliable for decision-making, or is it still in the experimental phase?

I'm not qualified to say whether it's reliable or not for decision-making, however, I have to believe it gives support to any decision that is made. Down the road, the decision maker(s) can always fall back on what the predictive analysis forecasted, should things turnout to be 180 degrees in the opposite direction!
