Okay, CIN - Looks like those Project+ vouchers have gone out to those of you that were on for my Proj+ TTT! Good luck to all of you!

Now, in a shameless post, you get to inflate my ego. This is the part where we find out if the TTT was helpful/instrumental in getting you to that shiny Project+ cert. So if you pass, post it here! If I did something really right, let me know.

And if you don't get it, it's okay! Keep at it - I'll help if you need it, meanwhile, if there was something about my training that wasn't so good, please tell me that, right here publicly, even. No instructor can improve if he does everything right, yeah? And I love to improve myself too. Or as a verse from the Good Book says, "As iron sharpens iron...". This is how we make CIN instructors the best ones out there. So, bring your eggs and tomatoes - I can handle it.

It was a pleasure having all of you on for the TTT and I sincerely wish you good luck as you all start certifying!

Thanks Rick Yap passed this prior to the vouchers going out so all good.

I don't know about you, but i often have a hard time getting students to fill out the end-of-day questionnaire.

From experience, I'm not alone in this: FireBrand regularly ping all their trainers that feedback responses are too low and SANS really harp on their trainers and their "facilitators" (teacher's assistant) to get >90% daily feedback.

I explain why giving feedback is important (it helps me improve, which lets students get better value). I add a quiz on the day's topic, so students can test themselves. But in the end, my response rates hover between 20% and 50%. I really don't want to guilt-trip students, so I'd love to hear more suggestions.

Thanks Rick! I scheduled my exam, but not until September when school is back in session. In August I'll prep and rewatch your sessions.

I kinda think the attention span for people is so low these days, that you have to do some kind of entertaining way to as a single eval question in a formative way as you go along. Of course, doing that, you end up sounding like an insecure teenager "is this okay, is that okay", when all you're trying to go is get meaningful feedback from people. Mostly, the stuff you hear is "it's really good" or "it's really bad".

At the risk of being too audacious, one might say that if you got no response, then your training is "middle of the road", not overly impressive, but not overly detrimental. But that's a heck of an assumption. It's like "meh" fills the bell in the bellcurve, yanno?

Then Patrick passed voucher on to me.
@Rick Butler is that possible or allowed?
I do not believe that is allowed because that voucher would have been marked for @Patrick Asamago because he completed the requirements. In the past, people have let @Stephen Schneiter know they do not have a need for the voucher. They are meant for personal use of only individual they are issued to only, not to be sold or gifted.

Thanks for the training @Rick Butler . It was informative, interesting, and funny.
Thanks for that, mate. Glad you enjoyed the training. Let me know if I can help with anything.

Sorry I've been a bit out of the loop here. Congrats on your pass, @Patrick Asamago -

As for transferring the voucher, @Kwabena Fred , @Abby N Krane is right - they're non-transferrable. There has been a problem over the last couple years with fraud, where people are taking advantage of the CIN voucher program, so CompTIA's rules on that are pretty strict.

@Rick Butler I think you did a fantastic job on the TTT sessions. I have not got my voucher yet hoping it drops in the hopper soon. Once I have my voucher I plan to re-watch your TTT sessions so get to enjoy them for a second time. Thank you for all the hard work you put into the CIN community I hope no eggs and tomatoes are sent your way :)
