I know that this is for the ITF+ but there is no current group or thread for the Tech+ yet. I was one of the instructor SMEs that met in Chicago during the 2023-2024 school year to help develop the new Tech+ course. While teaching the course this year, I noticed that there were several issues with the content. Since there have been a lot of changes within CompTIA recently, I was hoping that someone within the CompTIA organization might be willing to set up a focus group to review the content and suggest changes to the Tech+ course now that we have had a chance to teach the content. If so I would be interested in being part of the focus group

Hi Everyone! I know there have been folks that have been sharing either suggestions, like @Nathan Denton or issues they have encountered with content. The Product team wants to hear your feedback.

As @Brian Ford mentioned there have been a lot of changes within CompTIA. The Products team is asking that issues or suggestions please be reported in the learning platform for the fastest response and help the right people see the issue. This will save a lot of time and speed up resolution.

To send feedback or ask a question, click on the "help" (question mark) in the upper right corner of the platform. Then, select the type of feedback and complete the form. I hope this helps!

Have you had anyone try to register for the exam recently? I had mine scheduled and tried to reschedule it and kept receiving an error. I ended up just canceling the exam. When I got to schedule it, it won't give an option for a testing center, only OnVue and I have a private code. I have a class starting on the 17th and now am concerned that they won't be able to schedule their exams at a testing center. Anyone else have issues or know why a testing center wouldn't be an option. I hate OnVue!

I passed the exam on December 30th using Pearson Vue's OnVue. I have taken dozens of certification exams with OnVue with no problems at all.

Testing centers, you'll probably know, are individual enterprises. They are not owned or run by PearsonVue, each testing center is its own entity.

Testing centers might not offer any availability because they are simply closed for a few hours/days/weeks. They might not have the required staff to proctor the tests. For example: the school I teach at is a PV testing center, but they only have a proctor for something like three days a week.

Thanks for replying. I ended up reaching out to our business manager. It was indeed an issue. Not sure if it was CompTIA's issue or PearsonVue's issue. Testing Center wasn't even listed as a choice. So you couldn't even get to the point where you pick a testing center. The only choice was OnVue or private code. It seems to be all fixed now.
