And in quite a few smaller manufacturing companies too. I have quite a bit of respect for the tech departments that keep them functioning to meet the legacy needs of key equipment.
Southwest has been getting so much static over holding onto those old systems. You see it in the Government as well.

It's a meme (joke) playing on how Southwest Airlines received numerous complaints this past Christmas. Their computer systems are obsolete. This past week, with the Crowdstrike problem, those obsolete systems don't look so bad.
