I was looking at the median average for training houses and colleges. And yes, the going college rate is somewhere between 20-25/hr, even if you're going in as Adjunct (which to me is the same). They do get it, though, as there are always someone out there that will take it or nothing at all.

IT in general is underpaid, in my estimation - particularly for those that bothered to get their Network+ before doing Security+ (lol)
There are so many people that just want the "quick and easy pathway" to Security+ and higher and find learning basic networking, computer skills, or the like to just be a hinderance.
But, so many people just want to go cyber/be cyber and so on, to the point where they leap over basic skills...
Are you saying $55-$60/hr is a low pay rate? Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but the average US pay for a contract CompTIA instructor is somewhere in the $30-45/hr range, so that rate would actually be pretty good.

Not likely, mate. The final deadline, I think, just passed. Usually takes about 6-8 weeks to process the attendee list from On24 and do up the order.
I'd probably keep an eye open in June/July.

I liked the Cyber Skyline challenges that were at conference. The only downer was when they did the CTF last year, they reused the challenges from two years ago, or when I said, "oh, this looks familiar..." a few times.
