I finally buckled down and took the Linux+ and passed it today. It took some extra study but after I let the 005 get away from me I swore to myself I wouldn't let it happen again. HUGE thanks to @Stephen Schneiter, Jason Eckert's great TTT and the amazing CIN network for the voucher. Watching the expiration timer tick down on it gave me the kick in the pants I needed to finish!

Good job, Bruce. Another one for the home team. ;)

    Congrats.

What material beside the course book you used?

Congratulations 🎊 to you, how was the exam?
Exam went quite well, I had studied for the 005 but never took it. Process of elimination seemed more important than in most of the core exams. I use Linux in the context of Sec+ regularly and did much better than I expected. I scored an 873.

You beat me by a mile! However I think there is something to be said for someone who once had trouble understanding octal permissions scoring 777 on this one! ;)
