If a passes the S+ exam does the A + and N+ that expired become valid again?

He asked because it says so on the CompTIA website.

Please clarify?
If a certification is not renewed within the three year window, the cert is considered 'expired' and must be re-earned by taking the exam again. Certifications can only be renewed when they are active.

Yes, after I passed the Security+ exam, My A+ and Network+ automatically updated with the current expiration date of Security+.

Right - as long as the A+ and N+ are current. If they were allowed to lapse out, they would not be renewed. /r
