Humm, I think your request would violate our NDA we hold with CompTIA.
If by SME, we're not referring to those that are part of the CompTIA Subject Matter Expert program, I would agree.
But apart from that, as long as the content isn't compromising the content of an exam, I'd say this is a good request for any current instructor.

If someone was an SME for the exam itself, either by assisting on the Job Task Analysis or Item Writing, then the NDA prevents them from working on some commercial product related to the exam.
If someone is a technical trainer who was not an SME for the exam, the NDA only states that we cannot divulge actual exam content. We can create commercial products related to the exam.
