CompTIA Data+ Renewal

Hi everyone

Time has flown so fast and it's time to renew Data+ . I reminisced the post I made here in May 2022.

I'm not sure yet whether I'd be able to afford the $75 renewal fee, however, I received a DataX exam voucher for participating in the TTT. If I pass DataX, is it considered a higher level than Data+ and will my CEU fees be waived? I have already met the CEU points requirement by passing two non-CompTIA certifications.

Or what else can I do to have the CEU fees waived?

CompTIA certs do not "waive" fees. Either you owe them or you don't. Paying for some certs will cover the fees for others, but you'd have to look in your CompTIA account to see your fee payment progress to know for certain.

DataX does not provide any CEUs at this time. The only way to get the required 20 CEUs for Data+ are through a combination of educational activities. I have 13 CEUs from earning the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification. I only have 7 CEUs remaining, so I was thinking about getting the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification which would provide 15 more CEUs. Those two certs would be enough to renew the Data+. My fee is already paid in full.
