HTI+ Sadly No Longer Live

Too bad the HTI+ (Home Technology Integrator) certification is no longer available. See:
Well, that's not gonna stop me from doing some purple hat operations on my washer and dryer. If I'm gonna drop nearly $2k for IoT enabled laundry machines, I'm gonna have a little bit of fun with them.

My wife already disapproves of this...hence the donning of the black fedora will be in order...

As noted in the article I wrote, "... enabled me to make data-driven decisions relating to energy use and conservation designed to reduce overall energy costs." You can't tell a book (or appliance) by its shape and function. Hence the reason I'm going through my home, device by device, determining which of the candidate appliances are power vampires (see screenshot below measuring my toaster that isn't). Does anyone want to place a bet on how my electric toothbrush will be classified?
