I'm concerned that with the continual reduction in length, they may be removing the rigor of the exam. There are a lot of candidates who somehow manage to pass the exams without the minimum five years of experience.

CompTIA exams are already like that. There are far too many people who exam cram and pass CompTIA exams with little to no experience.
