I am about to start preparing for the Security+ exam. Is there any suggestions of study tools to use? Or any advice on preparing and taking it?

Do you have the material for the security + like the CertMaster Material. if you did not send your email to me i will sent you the material
You can always use ChatGPT to test you on specific topics. Works pretty well.
Using Comptia Official Study Guide and Certmaster Practice and Labs can be a help.

i would recommend the Sybex Security+ book to learn and prepare for your exam
In addition to the CompTIA material, I would google and bing "Security Plus exam prep material" and look past the ads and check out each individual secure site that might have questions that would be beneficial to Security plus!

You only need one study resource - the official CompTIA study material for the Security+ exam. Not only will prepare you for a successful attempt at the Security+ exam, but it will also provide practical skills and knowledge that will get you ready to enter industry - which is (hopefully) the end goal!!!
I have consistently told people that the official CompTIA CertMaster resources are all you need to pass the exams.
I have passed 13 active and 3 retired CompTIA certifications, and several of those certs were in multiple version, using only the CertMaster resources.

If you attend a CompTIA course, Security+ being one of many. A 40 hour course will give you credits to renew certs Just request a Certificate of attendance for the course
CertMaster Learn, Labs, and Practice are great tools. Also, I have my students use Total Seminars and Professor Messer.
