I didn't see a forum for this cert yet, so posting here instead.

CompTIA has posted pre-draft objectives for a new cert: CompTIA SecAI+. Anyone seen these yet? Thoughts? I'm definitely interested and looking forward to this one.

It's great CompTIA is expanding into AI security, given how AI is being integrated into cybersecurity... We see attackers using AI to automate phishing attacks, for example last year, a finance employee was fooled into wiring millions of dollars after receiving a fake video call that looked and sounded exactly like their CEO.... This is too concerning, hopefully SecAI+ covers defending against these kinds of threats.

As much as I dislike the current-day LLM / AI fad, those objectives look surprisingly okay.
It seems to be a lower level of cyber than I would have expected, but perhaps this is appropriate and the exam will mature over time. It also seems to have a lot of generic AI content that is not specific to cyber. I would have expected that content to reside in a foundational AI exam, not an AI security exam. But again, this seems to be a common pattern for CompTIA to start kind of low and let the exam mature through later iterations. It'll be interesting to see how the actual exam translates these objectives into exam questions and (perhaps?) PBQs.

True observation...I agree-clearer cyber-specific focus would enhance the AI Security angle and CompTIA Expansions: PenTest AI+, CySA AI+, Data AI+, AI Prompt+, AI Architect+, AI Scripting+, AI SysOp+, * AI+ here the focus is on AI

Why put AI in it, when AI will be integrated anyway with the next version probably?
As EC for the CEH v13 did.
For Pentest 003 it will be to late.
And why confuse people with additional Names or Courses... Sorry.
Developing a course is expensive, there needs to be a market here.
SO:
AI Prompt+, AI Architect+, AI Scripting+, AI SysOp+, * AI+

These your suggetstions or Course planned to release by CompTIA` that i missed to see?
