The next version of CompTIA Security+, SY0-601 will be released in November 2020. The Security+ certification validates the baseline skills you need to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career.

Join us Thursday October 22 at 2:00 p.m. CST, as we welcome Stephen Padilla as he walks us through the expected changes to the new version of the exam. We will discuss suggestions as to how to cover the content with students and suggest various labs to let students gain hands-on experience as they prepare for certification.

I am eager for the sneak peek, excited on the new additions to the exam. The embedded systems are the best to tinker with and now it makes it testable which is awesome.
Gabe welcome to the group. Thank you registering. I have a couple of questions. What information are you looking forward to getting out of the session. What questions will you ask?

Always enjoy hearing first hand why the adjustments to the objectives were made. Working within our CIN, hearing of the creative ways other instructors meet the objective is always valuable. I am wanting to ask some specific questions on some of the topics that are newly introduced.

Hello everyone! Quick question as the team works on getting ready for the Security+ Sneak Peek next week, they have asked if there are any quesitons you would like addressed so they can be sure to cover that during the session. So, is there anything specific that you would like to see discussed as they talk about the changes to the new vesion of the exam?
