Security+ is the definitive first choice, because every contractor with an IAT/IAM requirement is going to want it on your resume, particularly if you are going to leave the military with a security clearance. If you're looking to go Cyber, then CySA+ or CEH may be good things to go for...

I think with all the change-over at CompTIA, integration with TestOut, the roll of Certmaster Perform, and all the other initiatives in play, the 'forever' certs haven't been getting much updating. And that's just fine from my perspective, since Server+ hasn't really changed that much since...

It was quite an honor to get the MVC again. I truly didn't expect to get it again for at least a few more years, given the number of great contributors and instructors out here on the CIN. You all make it fun - if it wasn't fun, I just wouldn't do it. Thank you CIN for being a totally awesome...

I think I might have said something like that, earlier. If I can get away WITHOUT making a slide deck, then I'd rather do that. I think students would rather see live stuff than just a bunch of static statements, bulletized - whether or not we use a nifty background. /r

You would not be the first person to ever make that particular assertion. I give that to my earlier years in Army Intel and my fascination with glamorous world of espionage. What was funny was that @JanetAZ wanted to meet @Trevor Chandler for that very purpose. She found it hysterical.
