Corelight is hiring for a Network Security Trainer position. The job is mostly remote, but we are currently looking for candidates on the East Coast of the United States or in the EMEA region exclusively.

- Guide customers through learning Corelight's tools and applying cybersecurity best practices
- Support updates to training content as products and threats evolve
- Assist in developing recorded, on-demand training modules
- Deliver training virtually and occasionally in person
- Help manage and update our Learning Management System (experience with Skilljar is a plus)
- Walk students through how to use Corelight for basic threat hunting and incident response
- Support hands-on labs and interactive exercises like Capture the Flag (CTF)
- Learn and explain key cybersecurity concepts and how Corelight fits into the bigger picture
- Collaborate with team members to improve training quality and effectiveness
- Continuously learn about emerging threats and detection strategies to inform training improvements
- Participate in team retrospectives and feedback sessions to help shape future training offerings
- Three plus years experience or coursework in cybersecurity training
- Strong interest in teaching and helping others learn
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting technical content to different audiences
- Basic familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, or operating systems like Windows, Linux, or MacOS
- Any experience with Zeek, Suricata, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus but not required
- Willingness to travel up to 25-50%
- A degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
