We have very different opinions on what complaining looks like it seems. This thread was about several people wishing that it might make a return. And my comments mirror several of your opinions.

Are There New Requirements for CompTIA Trainers?

Yeah. But i do not understand why People Complain about this. Creating a Certification with Course, Slides and Exam is really costly.
The CTT had the problem, that a third partner was need to review the videos (payed by the student, but when and how many do you need?).
CompTIA does not offer Certification because some people complain.. It needs a business case.. Otherwise gone CompTIA Certs like Storage (by SNA), Mobile, PDI, CDIA where still available.. But they are not..
It may take some years, before a new Exam is created and the Budget is there..
Like i said: If you need an Certificate for Educational competence, get one like from Microsoft for MCTs. a little more expensive then the CTT (where the book is still available), but not so expensive.
So complaining here from a few will not reverse the decision by CompTIA to let the expire..
