Proposal for Integrating CompTIA Training into State University Curriculum

I’ve adopted the Cengage book on CompTIA Security+ for our Cybersecurity students at Champlain College. While it’s not a complete training resource, it does provide a solid foundation to help prepare students for the exam. I believe it should be considered as part of the curriculum in programs and courses offered at colleges and universities.

We are a Jewish private school catering to students aged 16-21, located in Granada Hills, CA. As a CompTIA academic partner, we offer online programs for beginners and are seeking an on-site instructor to provide support. The position involves 2 hours of instruction daily from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with an estimated 5-10 students per session. Our program runs from September 10th through mid-June, totaling approximately 130 instructional days.

Thank you! It was a really good experience. I used the Cert Master Material and Try Hack Me SOC levels 1 and 2. Still it was tough. I was so relieved when the screen showed me I had passed!

CASP+ and Pentest+++

Hello @Tom.Schultz, I just noticed that it does not look like your question was ever answered and wanted to throw my two-cents out there. Yes, the Xpert series will update lower ranking certs in the pathway, so SecurityX will update PenTest+ and below. As far as the training material and TTT series for SecurityX will be released, I am still waiting on official announcement from the Product Development team. However I am expecting a November launch time frame for both.
