Hello! I am looking to purchase a few Tech+ vouchers. Are those available yet? I can't find them on the Academic store or the CompTIA store. Anyone have an idea of when they will be available? I am a bit leery that I am doing the curriculum and there is not cert to buy. It was a big sell to run this course!

Hello everyone. I"m teaching the Network+ N10-009 course. I want to insure that my students have the most effective tools to use for the training. I've purchased the bundle for other courses in the past,, CompTIA A+, Learn, Practice Labs and Voucher. I hear that Perform is a new tool that has other features that may replace Certmaster Learn.

In your estimation, should I stick with the original bundle of Certmaster Learn, Practice, Labs and Voucher or purchase Perform, Practice and Voucher. Again, this is for Network+ N10-009.

Lastly, I want to confirm that when I purchase either of these bundles, there's an instructor or organization access key and student access key for all products. I need to make this purchase immediately.

Has anyone had trouble getting a hold of their account rep to purchase training? I have been trying since the 13th and customer service say I can only put in a ticket and wait. I did that and I still do not have any contact with the business/academic partner team.

I'm a UX Designer at CompTIA. I'm hoping to hear from instructors. What is your AI wish list for the CertMaster platform and courses?

1. How would you hope to be able to use it? In other words, what job would you hire AI to do for you in CertMaster? And why?
2. What job would your students hire AI to do for them in CertMaster? And why?
3. How have you already used AI to help you teach?
4. How are your students using AI currently to help them learn?
5. What, if any, negative effects of AI are you currently seeing, either for instructors or students?

Hello everyone.

I have been in a Zoom call with one of my students for almost two hours (insane!!!!). She is in my Canadian cohort in Calgary. I am in the USA. This woman clearly has a language barrier. English is not her first language; however, she studies hard, and she understands English and can talk in conversations. She has a heavy accent, and it takes her some time to get through the reading, but she just takes more time to read. We are trying to book her for the Core 1 CompTIA A+. We went to the special accommodations website as they directed, but when we get there, the only options available to request special accommodations for are if you have a cognitive or learning disability. I know they have allowed for it in the past. I had some students request and receive it for their AWS certifications and received it. I would think it would be the same scenario as well. It says so on the website for Pearson Vue.

Is it possible that someone who knows the rules can assist? How do we request accommodations for her? I fear without the accommodation, she will not pass. She is now a citizen of Canada, but she is from Pakistan. She received her Canadian citizenship two years ago. Can someone help me figure this out? The accommodations office is now closed. I have another possible student who has the same language barrier issues as well.

By the way, they said it could take 10 days. When my students did it, they got almost immediate approval once they proved English was not their first language. Is it really going to take them 10 days to figure out these women don't speak English well?

I recently dealt with a client’s network outage caused by a misconfigured router. I had to dig into the routing tables and found that one static route was pointing to the wrong gateway. Once corrected, the network was restored. Have you encountered similar routing issues in your teaching, and how do you explain routing table troubleshooting to your students?

In addition to the Cert Master content, can anyone recommend other resources they used for practice leading up to the exam or recommendations based on their experience with the exam, without giving away too much about the exam.
TryHackMe and Hack the Box have a bunch of content...just not sure what's applicable to CASP+/SecurityX, and what other resources are available.

I've got study materials like books, practice MC questions and flashcards covered.

Does anyone know if we are allowed to embed the instructional videos that are found in the Instructional Strategies Toolkit into our courses? According to the guide, "The following instructional videos are designed to support instruction of Module 1 concepts and may be used as an instructional resource for learners or as a primer for instructors."

I can't find a way to get at the source code for the video and these do not show up as a selection when creating LTI links to the material from within our LMS.

Can anyone provide information on where to get past professional development training on the CompTIA’s website?
