  • Question
Exam prep

I'm an instructor for Penn Foster College. Since the CompTIA A+ exam is updated every few years, we need to revamp our course to ensure that we are properly educating students on the requirements for the exam. Is there any way we can determine the required material so that we can better develop and update our courses to meet the CompTIA expectations?

DataX is renamed DataAI

CompTIA DataAI: The Reimagined DataX Certification for the Advanced Data and AI Workforce

January 12, 2026

CompTIA is rebranding its advanced DataX certification as DataAI, reflecting the fundamental shift in how data work is performed across modern organizations. This official transition is set to take place on January 21, 2026.

Data and AI are no longer adjacent disciplines: Today’s data roles increasingly require proficiency in machine learning, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision-making.

Artificial intelligence is becoming more deeply embedded into analytics, operations, and decision-making, with demand rising for professionals who can design, implement, and operate intelligent data systems responsibly and at scale.

CompTIA DataAI validates those capabilities, giving experienced professionals a clear way to demonstrate advanced expertise, while giving employers confidence that their data and AI initiatives are being built on sound technical, operational, and governance foundations.

Instructor Material

Out Side of the pricy material that we can get from CompTIA, is there any other options for up to date instructor material. As of now I have been using the older Power Points from Total Sim for the 1100 series that I have been updating by hand to include all the new 1200 information. Total Sim informed us today that they will not be producing any more instructor material for any level of certifications.

Where can I find official CompTIA Network+ training slides (TTT access)?

Hello,

I have official CompTIA TTT / Training access for Network+.
Could you please confirm where I can find the official instructor training slides (PPT/PDF)?

I currently have access to:
- CertMaster Learn
- Labs / practice materials

However, I am looking specifically for:
- Official Network+ instructor slides
- Downloadable PPT or PDF materials (if available)

Additionally, if recorded videos of the TTT session are available, could you please let me know where I can access them or share the relevant links?

Are these slides and videos available in CompTIA Central, CertMaster, or a separate Instructor Resource portal?

Thank you for your support.

Wrong answer in A+ Core 1

1766121517872.png
I see a mistake here... Anyone can confirm?
One memory controller per CPU (usually integrated):
• In most modern architectures (Intel since Nehalem, AMD since Athlon 64), the memory controller is built into the CPU, not the motherboard chipset.
• That controller can support multiple channels (dual, quad, even octa-channel), but it’s still one controller per CPU socket.
Multi-socket motherboards: (not explicitly defined)
• If a motherboard supports more than one CPU socket (like in servers), then each CPU has its own integrated memory controller.
• So a dual-socket server board would effectively have two memory controllers, one per CPU.
• Older designs (pre-2003 Intel):
• The memory controller used to reside in the northbridge chipset on the motherboard. In those cases, there was still typically one controller per system, not multiple.

I think this question needs re-phrasing
