When is the Train-the-Trainer series for the CompTIA Data+ DA0-002 course.?

There's a company that reached out to me that was interested in hiring me to teach Security+ as a subcontractor for them when they are able to obtain contracts. I have no problem with that. Today, they contacted me and said they may are negotiating for a client in Costa Rica, and they want to know what the charge would be for the courseware and labs. So I asked them if they were expecting me to bring all that to the table, and they said yes. I'm fine with that. I have an LLC, but it sounds as though I would need to become a CompTIA authorized provider. Does anyone know the process for setting that up, or could perhaps point me in the direction of someone at CompTIA who could advise me?

Hi gang. I told an authorized training partner I can train Security+. They scheduled me to deliver Certified Ethical Hacker for a full week this upcoming November. They have not specified the curriculum yet. What content overlap can I expect with Security+ material in CEH?

I am working with the CompTIA implementation team, but curious if others have identified these issues and how you are handling it.

When reviewing the point value of lab assignments, I observed that some labs seem wildly pointed which will result in significantly skewing grades without intervention.

Live labs (Perform product) are all pointed at 1 point, where as simulated labs are typically pointed based on the number of steps graded (ex: 2-10).

My concern is for live labs which appear to be consistently be valued at 1 point is devaluing them considerably against simulated labs which require much less work. Additionally, some simulated labs seeming to not follow the convention of one point per item graded and are pointed with what appear as crazy inappropriate values (upwards of over 30,000 points).

While I can update point values in Canvas, this appears to be a manually intensive operation, requiring each assignment to be updated individually. I am curious if others have seen this and have a better work around other than manually updating each assignment point value.

In retirement, I still remain active in California's community college system, serving as a course reviewer in its C-ID Program. An active effort for faculty involves the creation and utilization of "free textbooks" in what is called the OER program. Would it still be possible to get a voucher or discount for the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam? I even took the webinars last year and received the voucher, but due to other priorities I ended up letting time pass and it expired. I plan to take the exam later this year. Is there no lab available like a Certmaster Lab for A+ Core1 V15- 220-1201, its only available for A+ Core 2 V15-220-1202,

I am interested in teaching another class or two along with my duties. I have been teaching using CompTIA both Asynchronous and Synchronous for the last 2 years as an Assistant Professor. I have a recent PhD in IT and have been teaching Cybersecurity classes mainly. In the past, I was an MCT and completed and was certified in a CCT class prior.
