I am interested in teaching another class or two along with my duties. I have been teaching using CompTIA both Asynchronous and Synchronous for the last 2 years as an Assistant Professor. I have a recent PhD in IT and have been teaching Cybersecurity classes mainly. In the past, I was an MCT and completed and was certified in a CCT class prior.

I have a lot of experience with Canvas and CompTIA, especially with Asynchronous, and prefer it along with discussion questions I grade and add. I have done all the normal quizzes and forum posts through Canvas to add to the class.

Hello, quick note about content and course development.

I know as a former SME and trainer that the CompTIA suite of content is excellent, however, when it comes to "special programs" like for US Military Veterans or extended bootcamps some companies may need to develop a very specific program or additional courses.

CompTIA launched its new website and e-commerce store on Tuesday this week. I have seen a few questions about the site and making purchases.
There have been a number of videos created to help users walk through several areas of the new website.

I recently gained instructor access to the TestOut Platform, so I haven’t completed a full course there yet—unlike CertMaster, where I’ve finished several courses either as exam prep or to earn CEUs. Does anyone know if completing the SecurityX training (or any other course) on TestOut provides a certificate of completion, and whether that certificate can be used to claim CEUs for renewing the CASP+/SecurityX cert? Also, I noticed they’ve added a lot of new training content for Cisco, Microsoft, and other platforms. Do those courses also qualify for CEUs?

When is TestOut and CertMaster going to merge like A+ and Networking+?

I'm searching for a Comptia A+ instructor right now to work with five Cape Town-based students. In less than a week, the classes will be offered online. I am attempting to purchase exam vouchers for my students, and it appears that with the new website store, academic pricing is not available. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone know how to purchase vouchers for students at the academic price now that PearsonVue no longer sells CompTIA vouchers and the new CompTIA store is not supporting academic pricing?

Hi waiting patiently for exam vouchers and catching up on the A+ TTT sessions have been on holiday in Lisbon, Portugal

I just received my certificate for passing Tech+. Thanks, CIN and TTT, for the voucher!

Sadly, there was only a certificate and no plastic card to add to my stack. Is this unique to Tech+, or are we losing the cards going forward? I like my collection of red and white CompTIA IDs and want to keep growing the stack!

Looking forward to speaking at the 2025 NICE Conference and Expo next week in Denver, CO! I will be presenting Tuesday morning June 3, 2025. I would like to share that we had a wonderful training here.

We initially advertised for a CompTIA security + for specific dates. Corporate clients came and suggested their timelines which we have accommodated.
one client asked for Linux plus, cause they use Linux on their servers. We called for assistance here at CIN, and we finally agreed with Brian Wafula from Kenya who we invited to Malawi for in situ Linux plus Training.

This client was very happy, because of how well Brian 'hammered' the lessons.

We also thank Grace our Account Manager from CompTIA in South Africa, for the support she gave us, she was swift to assist when we faced some challenges. she has been and is giving us good support.

Thanking all CINERS who came forth for support, and suggestions on period. In fact we have agreed to support them online for a specific timeline to fully gain the confidence to sit for exam.

I already watched the entire series of SecurityX CAS-005 on demand. When will I get the voucher?

Hello everyone!

Long story short I am AD Army and there is a gap at my installation for young soldiers to achieve certs without paying massive out of pocket expenses. Working to put the pieces together to teach entry level CompTIA in line with the certs I have. I've seen a lot of back and forth on here how to get the course material, cert master, etc. I found a way to get the vouchers covered for them from the Army but now I'm essentially trying to build a bootcamp that I can host locally for them. Any information anyone can offer will be much appreciated!
