Is there any updates regarding this issue ?did any one got the vouchers?
What’s sad is people know they are the product and they still use the freebie. It’s as if they don’t care anymore.Krebs had a great posting regarding the Superbox, supposedly, to provide free streaming access to just about everything you can imagine. But...when it's free, YOU are the product. The sad thing about it is that folks are going to probably buy these things up. Meanwhile, it might be an interesting toy for a cyber class to look at in a sandbox.
Pretty wicked this thing, though.
Read about it...and tell me what you think.

Hi Katie! I would be delighted. What do you need from me?Hi Mitch! We have not yet built that functionality into the platform, although there is a way to do it via a deeper integration with Skillable. Perhaps I can connect you with a member of my team to discuss further if you would be willing to take the time?

Perhaps I can connect you with a member of my team to discuss further if you would be willing to take the time?Hey folks! When I use the LODS (Skillable) labs I can easily monitor my students lab progress or watch their screens. Is there a way to do that from the CompTIA Learning Platform? I don't see it. Please advise!
Did you *just* complete them? Because if so, I'm afraid you wouldn't qualify for a voucher. You would have needed to complete all the sessions by October 23 (two weeks after the last scheduled session) in order to qualify.I have completed all my Linux+ TTT sessions. Please let me know when I will receive the Exam Voucher.
I did, a couple of times. But I think he must've been too busy. It's okay, I've moved on to another cert to study for. Next time!Next time that happens be sure to email Stephen! It like it was more "managerial" than hands-on. I thought the PBQs were perfectly appropriate and actually enjoyed doing them for once.
Very good! I will bootleg it. ;-)Yes three are many topics that are challenging for students to understand and some of the topics they are hard from A+ to Security for exam, DNS TXT records (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and the we have subneting in CompTIA Network plus, Cryptography in Security plus.... I use analogies.
Imagine your email domain is a house, and the internet is a big neighborhood
- SPF = List of Approved Delivery Guys
- DKIM = Signature on the package, puts a tamper-proof signature on each mail you send
- DMARC = The House Rules on What to Do with fake mail, decides what happens to suspicious mail
For Subnetting,
Imagine a big city (a network) with thousands of houses (IP addresses). If the city is too big, managing houses becomes confusing. So we create suburbs/subdivisions (subnets)
Cryptography- Locking a Message in a Box with a Key, anything is secure because of it
Though not enough info but it assist students to understand underlying idea.
Huge congratsHuge thanks to @Stephen Schneiter for the incredible support and resources. The journey was challenging but incredibly rewarding!
Luck you! Wishing you all the best as you are preparing for it.It was support from Pearson Vue.
It was support from Pearson Vue.Wooho! That's amazing! Good luck as you will have to sit for it, curious to know the support team from CompTIA or Pearson VUE?
Wooho! That's amazing! Good luck as you will have to sit for it, curious to know the support team from CompTIA or Pearson VUE?I contacted the support center, and they provided me with a new voucher that doesn't expire until November 25, 2026.
They were INCREDIBLY helpful.
I contacted the support center, and they provided me with a new voucher that doesn't expire until November 25, 2026.That's terrible. Have you tried calling them to explain? Maybe they can make an exception.
Thank you so muchCongratulations!
I completely agree! I have been asked to take the newest version of an exam once, but when I told the training provider (who is known for not paying very well) that my certs were current, and I would only take the new exam if they provided me a voucher, they demurred. With that said, you have clearly been in the CompTIA world MUCH longer than I! I took my first CompTIA exam in 2021... so yes, I could take the new A+ Net+ Sec+ CySA+ if needed, but they would only be one version off from what I originally taught. My Linux+ and SecurityX certs are the current version... but only because I just sat them!It never made any sense to me why some clients insisted that I constantly retest every time a new version of a CompTIA exam was released.
It never made any sense to me why some clients insisted that I constantly retest every time a new version of a CompTIA exam was released. I have six Security+ versions, five Network+ versions, four A+ versions, three CySA+ versions, two Cloud+ versions, two CASP+/SecurityX versions, two ITF+/Tech+ versions, and two Project+ versions. None of my clients have ever asked me to retest for Microsoft, ISC2, or ISACA. Only CompTIA.For the first couple of years I framed my certs. I eventually threw them out. I also want to learn what is useful, but the reality is a lot of companies want us to hold certifications for the classes we teach.

I also want to learn what is useful, but the reality is a lot of companies want us to hold certifications for the classes we teach.I no longer care about getting another piece of paper to shove in a folder and care more about learning something new and useful.
