Definitely repeat victims are a real possibility, especially for organizations that haven’t fully addressed the root causes of their vulnerabilities. There may even be some repeat victims in 2025!!!
Thank you for this. You could always download the exam objectives.

You are very right....I wonder, though, if one should take priority depending on the type of certification. Both of them are importance.
I'm not good at being humorous :-(

There may even be some repeat victims in 2025!!!In 2024 it hit almost 90% of organizations costing around $2.73 million... We expect more threats this year
Thank you for your contribution TuNguyen!!!You can see more valuable information about Zero Trust from CSA CCZT.
Thank you. I also submitted a support ticket, at least it wasn't just me this time.I reported to CompTIA that although Certmetrics shows my passing the CAS-005 exam, the SecurityX certificate does not show the new expiration date. CompTIA's Director of Certification Operations is investigating this issue. I will pass on their response.
Hello Frank,Hello,
I'm a retired federal IT professional and a part-time High School Cybersecurity and Computer Science teacher. I served in government for 33 years, and this is my fourth year of teaching high school. I passed the Tech+ Exam yesterday, after spending last week studying the 727 page guide from Comptia. Now I'm tasked with trying to get some of my students to do the same. I teach at Woodlawn HS in Baton Rouge, LA. It is a Title 1, urban school that has at risk kids. I may also get involved with helping teachers who do not have a background in IT with passing the Tech+ exam. Next school year, LA is implementing a K-12 Computer Science curriculum. Tech+ is one of the three certifications that will be made available for high school students. The others are Python Programming and Web Development. Does Comptia have a program that can provide assistance to schools in underserved and underrepresented areas.
Thx
Frank Kidd

No prize for any early comer.....Oh, I'm so excited!!! I'm registered, and already I'm pacing back and forth like a caged tiger
Will we be allowed to ask questions during the sessions??????
Will there be any prizes given to early arrivals? I'm thinking something like $25 Starbucks cards!!!
Will there be any opportunities to gain favor with the teacher (i.e. become teacher's pet), like maybe
bringing an apple to class???
Will there be .... I'll be back to finish this later![]()

In 2024 it hit almost 90% of organizations costing around $2.73 million... We expect more threats this yearRansomware attacks are one of the most prevalent and damaging types of cyber threats today. By incorporating a ransomware response plan, students can learn how to protect against these attacks, minimize damage, and recover efficiently.

It’s always great to see your students not just learning, but also connecting with humor that reflects real-world tech culture. While you are doing a great deal of workMy biggest win was when I asked my class to turn their books to the table on page 404 and several of them said "We can't find that page."
It basically meant that my tech humor was rubbing off on them, and that they're ready for the real world as a result...
I post there because there are a few learners on the subreddit who want to do things legitimately. But yes, there is a large number of people who want to cut corners so they can jump up to a six-figure, mid-career job, with no experience, no skills, and just a few "paper" certs.Ahh, yes, that r/CompTIA Reddit sub crowd - people who see the value of certification in terms of salary, but do not want to actually pay for anything or complain about how expensive it is to get material and/or vouchers - so in effect, are really just kind of stealing. I used to interact with these people but gave up because it just seemed like they were trying the quick-and-easy way to get ahead on things.
I, myself, am willing to help just about anyone that is serious about learning. I just don't have a lot of time or patience for people who game the system in order to quickly take what it's taken the earnest among us years to earn. As you said, it cheapens and devalues it in so many ways. Maybe I'm just getting cranky in my older years, but quality over quantity extends all over the certification world. But that drive for more money and recognition does push people to cutting corners.
