A nice thing to do is to take the certification that matters to you and always renew the SecurityX - I think that makes senseThere is no CompTIA higher-level exam than CASP+/SecurityX because it is considered an expert level exam. That is what they are referring to.
I passed the CISM after passing CASP+ and they added three years to the expiration date. I also passed the CISSP, which I could use to renew my CISM and CASP+. I have some CompTIA certs that don't expire until 2030.
Guarantees? Last time I checked, there were only two guarantees: 1. Death. 2. Taxes. What I do see are over-priced bootcamps with "job guarantees" that teach the trifecta and then charge you upwards of 14k$ (sometimes even 20k$). A lot of those bootcamps prey on veterans and their juicy, juicy GI Bill
Hey Big R, are you saying you don't need Network+ before Security+?I was looking at the median average for training houses and colleges. And yes, the going college rate is somewhere between 20-25/hr, even if you're going in as Adjunct (which to me is the same). They do get it, though, as there are always someone out there that will take it or nothing at all.
I am going to eventually get it right after going through all of the possible combinations [...] I will need to explain to the students why this answer was chosen to remove any subjectivity.
Thank you, Gregory, for your kind reply. It would add three years to the expiration date, so it would be extended to January 2030.
Thanks Stephen, definitely looking forward to DataX and CloudNetXHi Folks, as always, thank you for your patience as we work through processing eligibility for vouchers! I am ordering SecurityX vouchers today. I hope that once the order is received, the Data team will be able to begin distribution within the next week. I will post an update once I have a better idea of the date.
I was making more than $20/hour back in the 1990s before I became a technical trainer.Institute are paying only 20$ per hour where can I find that institue remote for high pay
Institute are paying only 20$ per hour where can I find that institue remote for high payI wish you luck but $28/hour is an incredibly low rate for a technical trainer. It's a third of what a technical trainer should be earning.
It would add three years to the expiration date, so it would be extended to January 2030.Hello @Everyone and Stephen
Please, could you help me understand a little the renewal cycle,
Let’s say I currently hold the CASP+ certification, which is set to expire in January 2027.
If I renew it tomorrow (May 4 2025), would the new expiration date be extended to January 2030, or would it be May 2028?
Thank you in advance for your help!
