CompTIA Cloud+ CV0-004

@precious & @abiodun1991 :

maybe i am the only one, but i would appreciate to (and CIN has also some rules to follow, which you agreed with the sign up) :
- start your own discussion about Questions in your own threath and do not hijack / spam other discussions, were it is hard then to find other content/questions.
- you posted over 6,5 pages of questions and only you both are involved. (that are around 120 questions posted without reason)
- Are these questions self created? Or copied from other sources? If not self created, to you have permission to post them here? CIN is craweld by google, and a short check, showed, that the Questions are also found somewhere else, so for me the source of this is doubtful at least for some questions. Or you post the at least the Source for the questions as reference to check.
- if only two persons are involved, start your private conversation instead discussing things in public.
- also you to not post the Answer and why is there: Explanation in bold without text?

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincere apologies I am not defending you so I have deleted it
I am very sorry .
I will explain the way you need to understand .

Are There New Requirements for CompTIA Trainers?

Sorry, this will be long...

As a former SME for this exam (2Xs), I was very sad to see it go. In addition, the organization I work with had it as a requirement for all new instructors w/i 6mos of employment. To my knowledge there is no industry wide certification for technical instructors.
As a Company, you still can provide the Book to students, to internal training and evaluation. If they wanna become an MCT, there is path to prove there Instructor knowledge, even in the moment no new MCTs are enrolled online.. but it is possible.
Personally I see a reason for dropping this exam being that the demand was dropping, however; I don't think having to update for different platforms and technologies, adding to the cost of the exam is really necessary.
It changes more to online learing, precreated content or AI generated...

I believe the Costs for the Exam Review where to expensive and low demand. I have seen CompTIA stopping Exams, when there was not high turnout over the years (Storage by SNA, Mobility, Mobility App, CDIA+, PDI+) they are all long gone...

Hyperconverged infrastructure

An HCI solution integrates computing power with storage and network capabilities, into one unit for management and scalability benefits for setting up a SharePoint environment across multiple virtual machines due, to its efficient resource handling and ease of expansion.

How Load Balancing Works in Cloud Environments

On a related topic in the Cloud, DNS traffic management can improve the end user experience by considering several variables and then connecting the user to the closest or least loaded load balancer. A great demo of that is to ipconfig /flushdns then ipconfig /displaydns then ping someone global like MS or Cisco then ctlC and doskey to the ipconfig /displaydns. You need to do it fast as those referrals have a TTL of 15 to 20 seconds. You can see the entire shell game.

Cloud+ TTT vouchers, question.

@Rick Butler thank you for the clear explanation, despite the fact you don't appreciate how I give you credit for the job well done.

did miss something? what do i not understand on the last part of the Sentence?

@Stephen Schneiter I know you have been trying you best underground.
Lot of TTT in parallel, prepare new TTT and monitoring the CIN.
So, to what are you refering here? Stephen did not answer yet..

Michael, left confused with this posting.

Cloud+ TTT vouchers, question.

There is a two-week window between the last session and the time that the data is pulled of all the attendees. That window closed yesterday. After that, CompTIA has to run the list to make sure it's clean (which can take quite a bit of time to verify). After that, the order goes in and has to be cleared and processed.

In short, it can take about 6-8 weeks if the TTT was well-attended.

Cloud+ TTT vouchers, question.

Hello, since the Cloud+ had only 4 sessions, there was only one Week to watch the recordings after the last session. Since session 4 was on Oct. 10th, the window closed on Oct. 17th. So Rick, as he is normally 100% correct, did not hit this time this topic..one of the few misses he made.
But this was mentioned in all Recordings from Session 1-4, that there is only one week instead the normal 2 weeks..
So, i would suggest, that you ask your Training Partner, to ask the Programm Manager about a free Voucher or Discount.
Maybe CloudX will be a chance for you next year, or 2027 for Cloud+ 005 Version

Sorry, but that where the Rules.

CompTIA EMEA Partner Conference

I’m thrilled to have been part of this incredible CompTIA EMEA partner conferences as a speaker! The energy was amazing, and I had the chance to meet some truly inspiring people. This experience has left me more motivated than ever. Can’t wait to step back onto that big stage next year!

Great job 👏🏽 @Stephen Schneiter

How Load Balancing Works in Cloud Environments

Something I usually add to my discussions and labs about load balancers not detailed in-depth above include:
  • Algorithms - How backend servers are chosen for requests
  • Sessions - The complexity created with load balancing and some things needing to be sticky if the session state is not shared with the cluster members
  • Health - Handling failures and only sending to healthy systems
  • Patching benefits - Being able to move systems in and out and not affect end users
Some of these may be subpoints of some of your points above. I just thought I would extend the discussion.
The labs are fun as well.

Creating Engaging In-Classroom Labs for Demonstration

I love AWS Academy, as students can use AWS as a lab environment for free, with no credit card required. It has controls in place, so some things are impossible, but most are. The cool thing here is that cloud computing is in demand. It gives them experience with a real environment many may interact with after graduating.

I use it heavily for my Linux classes and have a shortened of the hands-on part of my courses posted in youtube - Login to view embedded media
I also use this heavily for my cloud architecting, cybersecurity, networking, etc.

We have some physical stuff for our entry-level, A+ aligned course. We also have a hands-on IoT course that has all sorts of equipment.
