I'm purchasing CertMaster Learn for the A+ 220-1001 and I have the option to choose Student Upload or Access Keys.

Is there one that is more beneficial than the other? Lastly, is there a limit of setups with either option? I'm going to be hosting instructor - led training and remote training.

As an instructor that spends most of my time training, i often struggle getting time to watch on24 webinars . Is there a way of speeding Up the play speed of the recorded on24 sessions?

I'm interested in the thoughts of others relative to CompTIA's content (Official Student Guide and Certmaster Labs). I'm finding the content of remarkable quality, and I'm planning to utilize these products for both contract and academic courses that I'll be teaching in the future. Early on in my teaching career, I made the mistake of signing on to write a textbook on IIS4.0. What I found is because technology changes so quickly, the shelf life of learning content is extremely short. I think that goes a long way towards why we are seeing a reduction of choices in learning content.

One of the things I'm working on for teaching later this summer is adapting this content (Official Student Guide and Certmaster Labs) for the Canvas LMS that we use here in the California Community College system. I'm attempting to create a loose association of instructors to work together to create additional learning content (e.g. quizzes, discussions, projects, etc.) that we can share and utilize for our classes. If I have paid for the official instructor resources for A+. Is it ok to print out the student guides for my students without infringing copyright?

Change is in the air! I am hosting a focus group about the CTT+ certification. I'm hoping someone could give me a refresher on how students can get discounted vouchers via the online CompTIA store?
I guess I'm just curious how the process works, as I've forgotten from the webinars that were presented months ago.
Do the students sign up with an account, and validate themselves to their institute and then will get the academy partner pricing?

Team, I have recently passed CISSP! Wow...what a journey! I've actually made a video about it, which I will share. Last year, I've concurred CASP+, which was also a challenge. Funny, I was unsuccessful twice with both certs before passing. Talk about stress, but I set a goal and achieved it.

Both certifications were challenging in their own way. CASP+ is more on the technical side. Those simulations...UGH! Know your Linux. Unfortunately, I am weak with Linux. I am a Windows guy!

CISSP is on the management side. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING, unlike CASP+, you want to fix the problem. With CISSP, you are an IT Manager, CISO, and other roles of IT management. You truly need to know the flow nd the "why" of everything. Memorizing terms and the steps in a process (RMF), will not work. How does everything connect? Is the CIA Triad affected? The security treatment that was decided on, does it align with company goals and objectives?

Both certs are excellent and hold a tremendous amount of value to your career. Keep studying!

I am looking at crowdsourcing practice questions for Project+ for the sole purpose of instructors utilizing them interactively through a platform. Is anyone interested?

So my question is do you teach the A+ curriculum as one course or two?
Do you do the 1001 objectives separate from the 1002 objectives when teaching or do you just blend it together?
How does this work out for students who are mostly wanting to prepare for the exams rather than those students just starting out in tech and wanting to learn the content?

How long have you been CompTIA certified? I originally passed the A+ back in 1999 and therefore am GFL. I also have the CE certification.

I am curious of how "old" my certification is in comparison to my peers on here.

(I just contacted CompTIA about getting access to my certification records and have them connected to an email account I still access.)

Question: Why can't CompTIA perhaps do a better job at organizing objectives in a more logical order?
For example, with A+ Core 2 (220-1002) Safety and Professionalism is in the very last part. As a teacher, this is the very first thing I would want to teach, especially before we do any hands-on activities. This would make more sense to be in Core 1 rather than Core 2.
Am I wrong?
