Question: As an Instructor, what type of access do I have within the CompTIA learning platforms?

On the CertMaster Learn Platform an Instructor has access to the boost dashboard. Here, they have the ability to access instructor resources, reporting for groups and students assigned to them. Instructors can also impersonate the students assigned to them!

On the CertMaster Labs Platform the instructor has the ability to monitor the labs of their students in a live environment!

Good day All! I am a newbie here and am in search of a Security+ Instructor for virtual instruction. The course will be help twice a week from 6PM-8PM EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 weeks. Pay rate is $45/hr with some flexibility.

Good morning! Great start with PenTest+ TTT with @Lee McWhorter . I have one question with this TTT. Why is it scheduled to start at 8:00 pm est? Is CompTIA steering away from TTT during the work day?

I've been wondering what the next TT after PenTest will be. Is there any information on that?

Answer: There are many ways to take advantage of gaining access to CompTIA's products and solutions so I will try capture as much information here as I can. One way is to reach out to your CompTIA BDM (if you are not sure who that is please let us know and we can point you in the right direction), they can start by sending evaluation copies of ANY of our products, and they can also walk you through a demo of each to showcase ALL of the great features. Also, some other ways to gain access would be by engaging in CompTIA's many webinar events and discussions forums (such as CIN). You can find more information at

How, as an Instructor do I get FREE access to CertMaster Learn?

I attended all the Cloud+ TTT sessions and downloaded my participation certificates, however, I have not received any voucher for the certification exam. This was my first TTT so I am not familiar with the process. Does it normally take this long or do I have to submit something else?

I don`t know, if you read the Registration for the upcoming Pentest TTT:

NEW in 2022! In order to qualify to receive an exam voucher as part of the CIN TTT series you will need to be an active CIN member and a CompTIA training partner. More details will be provided during Session 1 of the series.

Would like to know how to solve that before the Sessions starts.
Anyone done that as a Freelancer yet?

Like many of you, I have been involved in technology since the early 1970s. I have taught at the college and university levels, and currently am an adjunct instructor. One of my major concerns has been the bias and racist terminology that still exists within our field. For example, current tech-based textbooks still refer to Master/Slave configurations, or allowing "good" websites by marking them in white lists, while barring "bad" website through black lists. There are many other examples found in our field. Many years ago I started to update my lectures and presentations to reflect inclusiveness by removing biased, racist, and negative concepts. I am interested in working with other instructors in updating how we present technology in today's world. Hopefully, we can also convince textbook publishers to update how they present technology.

I noticed in the CompTIA roadmap that Linux+ 005 should go live around June/July-ish in 2022.

Can anyone from CompTIA confirm/deny whether we'll be getting a beta for that version? I've got a few people, who are really enthused about the idea.

When is the official date of the expiry? or how does it work in terms of writing the exam and having the certification if it expires soon.

Do you prefer E book learning way? or the physical manual to give to students?

In our CIN website we can find videos and other materials for all courses. But we cant find the trainer Power point slides for all courses.
Hope CIN can add in power point slides for the trainer reference.

I am the Technology Teacher and Network Admin at Tri-City Christian Academy in North Carolina. I am trying to start teaching the ITF+ course at our school. Honestly, I don't even know where to start... Is there resources available that I can build out lesson plans with? Any help or guidance would be awesome!
